Why choose us
- We pay attention to different aspects of our patients. As a result, not only do our care services meet the most up-to-date guidelines, but the equipment, health, and safety protocols we follow also meet high standards.
- Our experienced healthcare providers have passed advanced clinical training. In addition, they regularly attend conferences and professional society meetings to update their knowledge in Family Medicine.
- We believe that patient education is a fundamental step and is directly related to the desired therapeutic outcomes. Therefore, in addition to talking to the patient during the exams, we provide the patient with a thorough explanation of the treatment regimen, including drug interactions, proper diet, and exercise.
- We allow all members of your family, from infancy to an elderly age, to see the same physician. This means your family practice can develop a trusting personal relationship with your family, resulting in better treatment outputs.
What we do
Physicians usually similarly treat depression and anxiety. Again, the therapy should be adapted to your condition; however, in most cases, the treatment is tailored in a way that can reduce the symptoms of both depression and anxiety.
There are different psychotherapy methods for stress, depression, and anxiety of which we can call:
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Interpersonal therapy
- Problem-solving therapy
Sometimes medications are more helpful. For example, research shows that symptoms of depression and anxiety often occur together. Therefore, both are treated with SSRI (Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) and SNRI (Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor) medications.
For people who suffer from severe symptoms, psychotherapy and medication treatment are combined.
What are the symptoms of each condition?
There is a close overlap between the symptoms of depression and anxiety of which we can call:
- Insomnia
- Irritability
- Difficulty concentrating
However, more differences help us distinguish our condition more or less. Therefore, we will explain the differences more below:

- Being unable to make decisions or recall stuff
- Pain, cramps, aches, or gastrointestinal problems
- Changes in weight or appetite
- Waking up early or oversleeping
In addition to the referred symptoms, there are some emotional symptoms of which we cite:
- Loss of interest in hobbies
- Constant feelings of sadness, emptiness, or anxiety
- Feeling pessimistic or hopeless
- Irritability, anger, or restlessness
- feeling worthless or helpless
- Suicidal thoughts
- Suicide attempts

You can join a support group or do meditation and breathing exercises. Talking with your family members or regular activities may also help. However, nobody more than a therapist can make you find the base of the problem and make the pain go away for good.
